OK so i bought mine for 900 and its got better stuff then that on it with windows vista as well as microsoft office suite all included. So id say its a bad deal shop around walmart, pawn shops, and best buy!

It sounds about right if you don’t buy it on sale. The 4 gigs of ram and the 200 gig 7200 rpm HD probably bump you about 0 worth of upgrades (the upgraded CPU doesn’t help either). I would seriously evaluate if you need all of that.
